AIVL, the Australian Injecting and Illicit Drug Users League, is the national peer-led peak organisation representing our network of peer-based harm reduction programs and Drug User Organisations.
We advance the wellbeing of people who use and have used drugs through partnerships in Australia, the Pacific Region and internationally.
We platform the voices of people who use and have used drugs nationally to inform policy, research, programs and practice.
We develop the national peer workforce through evidence and the lived-living experience and expertise of people who use and have used drugs.

Pill Testing Groups Silenced by Meta and TikTok As Toxic Drug Supplies Proliferate
Social media companies must urgently stop censoring life-saving drug warnings. Multiple organisations, including Pill Testing Australia, CanTEST, and New Zealand partner Know Your Stuff NZ, have had posts removed, accounts suspended, and in some cases, entire pages and personal accounts permanently deleted, after automated content moderation systems flagged their public health alerts as promoting drug use.
