This course focuses on creating better communication and clinical interactions between people who use drugs and medical professionals, breaking down some of the stigma, discrimination, and other barriers preventing equitable access to services for people who use drugs, along with challenging common misconceptions around people who use drugs and drug use. *Some of the language and terminology used in this course, whilst standing as a true transcript of the audio files, is outdated and not reflective of present best practice language guides.
