A full-day event designed to bring together community members, advocates, individuals, and organisations.

We are excited to announce the Health and Human Rights Summit—Open Forum: Advancing the Wellbeing of People Who Use Drugs, a full-day event designed to bring together community members, advocates, individuals, and organisations. This forum will feature a series of presentations and panel discussions centering the health and human rights of people who use drugs.

Why This Event Matters

Advancing the wellbeing of people who use drugs requires collective voices and efforts of individuals and organisations from a broad spectrum of sectors. Your presence matters.  

Who Should Attend?

This summit is designed for a wide audience, including:

  • People who use drugs and people who work as or identify as a Peer within the drug-using community.
  • People working in: Harm Reduction, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Community Services, Corrective Services, Healthcare, Health Promotion and Communications, Housing, Human Rights, Local State and Federal Government, Policy, Research and Media.
  • Advocates for: Justice, Education, Drug Law Reform, Poverty Eradication, Gender Equality, Housing.
